Rolling Stones Bust Out Hang On Sloopy In Columbus

Last night The Rolling Stones made their second stop on their Zip Code Tour of North America at the Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio. The performance at the largest stadium on the tour saw the band bust out a cover of “Hang On Sloopy” for the first time since 1966. 

The song popularized in 1965 by The McCoys that later was named the official rock song of the state of Ohio and performed regularly at sporting events around Ohio, “Hang On Sloopy” came mid-set between “Wild Horses” and the fan requested “Paint It Black.” Watch the “Hang On Sloopy” bust out followed by “Paint It Black” captured by YouTube user backpackdave2012:
