Rodrigo Y Gabriela Announce Deluxe Edition Of Debut Album

This year marks the 10 year anniversary of the international release of Rodrigo y Gabriela’s breakout self-titled album. To mark a decade since it was originally issued, the Mexican guitar duo has detailed a deluxe edition of Rodrigo Y Gabriela featuring newly offered live recordings.

First released in Ireland in 2006, Rodrigo Sánchez and Gabriela Quintero supported Rodrigo Y Gabriela with a run of concerts in Dublin at The Olympia Theatre. Packaged as a live album and accompanying DVD, the never-before-released recording from that set of shows is included in the upcoming deluxe release. Also included is the original Rodrigo Y Gabriela album remastered from the original John Leckie-produced sessions featuring two previously unreleased studio tracks. Here’s “Satori” from the new DVD:
