Keyboardist Robert Walter led a Robert Walter’s 20th Congress set on the Pool Deck aboard Jam Cruise 18 on January 9, 2020. The quartet’s performance of “9 Til 5” is the latest video shared by Jam Cruise organizers from this year’s musical adventure at sea.
Walter’s lineup for the set featured legendary bassist George Porter Jr., drummer and guitarist Andy Coe. George Porter Jr. is a founding member of The Meters, the iconic funk band who wrote and recorded “9 Til 5” for their sophomore studio album — 1969’s Look-Ka Py Py.
