OG Garage A Trois Covers Ornette Coleman’s ‘Ramblin’’ Aboard Jam Cruise 18: Pro-Shot Video

OG Garage A Trois played a pair of rare gigs aboard Jam Cruise 18 in January. Jam Cruise organizers shared pro-shot video featuring the band’s performance of Ornette Coleman’s “Ramblin'” and the Charlie Hunter original “Plena For My Grundle” from their Pool Deck set on January 10.

The core OG Garage A Trois trio of Hunter, saxophonist Skerik and drummer Stanton Moore was joined by percussionist Mike Dillon for “Ramblin'” and “Plena For My Grundle.” Ornette Coleman composed “Ramblin'” for inclusion on his 1960 studio album Change Of The Century.
