Keller Williams Performs ‘Making It Rain’ Aboard Jam Cruise 18: Pro-Shot Video

One-man band Keller Williams is a Jam Cruise regular and during January’s trip he had the rare opportunity of playing two sets on the Pool Deck: a solo performance and another leading Keller Williams’ Grateful Grass. Jam Cruise organizers continue to roll out pro-shot video captured aboard Jam Cruise 18 in January and the latest features KW’s “Making It Rain” from his solo set.

Keller’s solo performance came on the third night of the trip, January 9. The set included “Making It Rain,” a song Williams described as a true story that appeared on his 2015 studio album, Vape. KW showed off his multi-instrumental and looping skills throughout the seven+ minute version in which he played guitar, bass, keyboards and electronic drums. The Virgina native also simulated a saxophone by using an effect on his guitar and of course sang the tale of a man from Uganda.
