Legendary vocalist Robert Plant completed a North American Tour in support of the recently released Carry Fire on Friday night at The Orpheum in Los Angeles. Plant led his band, The Sensational Space Shifters, on a mix of songs from the LP, his other solo work and a handful of Led Zeppelin favorites. Robert Plant & The Sensational Space Shifters opened with “New World…” off Carry Fire and then went with “Turn It Up” from 2014’s Lullaby And…The Ceaseless Roar. Soon thereafter, “That’s The Way” was the first Led Zeppelin song to make the setlist.

“All The King’s Horses” followed “That’s The Way” and led into “Please Read The Letter,” a song written by Plant, Jimmy Page, Charlie Jones and Michael Lee for Page & Plant’s Walking Into Clarksdale LP that was also recorded by Robert and Alison Krauss for Raising Sand. Next up was “Gallows Pole” along with “Carry Fire” and “Babe, I’m Gonna Leave You.” The set concluded with a run of “Little Maggie,” “Fixin’ To Die” and “Misty Mountain Hop.” Robert Plant said farewell with an encore of “In The Mood” and a medley that combined “Bring It On Home,” “Whole Lotta Love” and “Santianna.” Photographer Steve Rose was on hand to capture the action:
