Robert Earl Keen Taps Tyler Childers, Miranda Lambert, Jon Randall, More For Texas Flooding Benefit Concert

As promised, Robert Earl Keen announced a star-studded lineup, including Tyler Childers, Miranda Lambert and more, for his previously announced benefit concert to aid those impacted by the Texas Hill Country floods. Presented by Buc-ee’s, Robert Earl Keen and Friends: Applause For The Cause takes place on August 28 at Whitewater Amphitheater.

A headlining set will be shared by Robert Earl Keen and Tyler Childers. Applause For The Cause will also see performances by Sarah Jarosz, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Randy Rogers, Ryan Bingham, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Cody Jinks, Hayes Carll, Jamestown Revival and more. Miranda Lambert is part of a special trio also including Jon Randall and Jack Ingram.

“This is a star-studded lineup with music starting in the mid-afternoon and lasting far into the night,” REK said. “We must help everyone as much as we can, for as long as we can.” Robert Earl Keen hails from Kerr County, Texas, where some of the worst flooding took place.

“We are pleased to have the opportunity to support the relief efforts of so many for our beloved Hill Country,” Buc-ee’s founder Beaver Aplin added. “The tragedies are beyond belief. Buc-ee’s teaming with Robert Earl Keen and friends for this benefit concert just seemed like the right thing to do. When we learned 100 percent of our commitment goes to the Community Foundation of the Hill Country, we were all in.”

100 percent of ticket sales will benefit the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country. Those who purchase tickets will have an opportunity to buy a ticket for a first responder.

Tickets for Robert Earl Keen and Friends: Applause For The Cause go on sale Friday, July 18.
