Gov’t Mule welcomed back The Doors’ guitarist Robby Krieger for the second of two Mule-O-Ween performances last night at the Fox Theater in Oakland. Once again, Krieger sat in for the entire second set and encore as he performed a batch of The Doors’ songs with Mule.

Just as they did in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, Warren Haynes and Co. kicked off the show with a set filled with Mule originals before diving into their Doors tribute. Krieger and the Mule reprised the set they played on Wednesday in a bit of a different order. RatDog guitarist Mark Karan joined in the fun for a take on “Roadhouse Blues” that served as the first encore, while “When The Music’s Over” brought the show to a close.
