Riot Fest 2022 Lineup: My Chemical Romance, Nine Inch Nails & More

Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Bauhaus, Sunny Day Real Estate and Portugal. The Man are among other acts set to play Chicago’s Douglass Park this September.

Riot Fest organizers revealed the event’s 2022 lineup featuring headliners My Chemical Romance, Nine Inch Nails and . The three-day festival returns for its 17th year to Douglass Park in Chicago September 16 – 18.

My Chemical Romance tops a Friday, September 16 lineup that also includes Alkaline Trio, Portugal. The Man, Bleachers, Descendents, Rocket From The Crypt and more. Then, The Original Misfits close out the action on Saturday, September 17 with a performance of their debut album, Walk Among Us, in honor of the LP’s 40th anniversary. Additional Saturday Riot Fest performers include Yellowcard, Bauhaus, Sunny Day Real Estate and Bad Religion, among others.

Nine Inch Nails headline the final day of Riot Fest on Sunday, September 18. Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Ice Cube, Sleater-Kinney, Jimmy Eat World, The Academy Is…, Action Bronson, Lunachicks and The Maine are more acts slated to play Douglass Park that day.

“I think this year’s lineup really speaks to who we are; it’s been a minute since we’ve gotten to curate a lineup like this,” explained festival founder Mike Petryshyn in a statement. “I’m especially excited for what this is leading into: the stuff that’s happening in the next few weeks, and the years to come.”
