Reminder: Trey Anastasio To Make ‘A Prairie Home Companion’

Trey Anastasio will be one of the guests on today’s (Saturday, November 19) episode of A Prairie Home Companion. The Phish guitarist will join host Chris Thile for a live broadcast from Ellie Caulkins Opera House in Denver.
Thile recently made his debut as permanent host taking over from Garrison Keillor who had run the show since 1974. Thile’s first official episode featured Jack White, Margo Price and others. After this weekend’s episode, Chris and the team heads to Town Hall in New York City for broadcasts on December 3 and 10.
Also joining Thile and Anastasio in Denver on today’s episode will be comedian Tig Notaro and London-based band The Staves. The program recently shared a photo showing Trey fronting Chris Thile and the house band with a note indicating he played/will play a few songs:
