Red Hot Chili Peppers Announce North American Tour 2017

The Red Hot Chili Peppers recently released their 11th studio album The Getaway. Anthony Kiedis & Co. will support the LP by touring Europe over the remainder of the year, but come January the band will kick off a lengthy North American Tour.
Red Hot Chili Peppers’ North American Tour begins at San Antonio’s AT&T Center on January 5 and features stops in Houston, Dallas, New Orleans, Memphis, Tulsa, Wichita, St. Louis, Lincoln, Minneapolis, Detroit, Toronto, Boston, Buffalo, Philadelphia, New York City, Denver, Phoenix, San Diego, Los Angeles, Oakland, Portland, Seattle and Vancouver. Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue have been tapped to open each show with Jack Irons also supporting on select dates.
Tickets go on sale to the general public starting Friday, September 23 at 10 a.m. local for all dates, except the following cities begin at noon local: Dallas, Tulsa, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Toronto, Buffalo, Philadelphia and Los Angeles. General on sale for the San Antonio date begins on Saturday, September 24 at 10 a.m. local. More dates are expected to be announced soon.
