Real Estate Announces Bingo Concert & Acoustic In-Store Performance

Brooklyn-based rockers Real Estate announced details for a pair of special shows. The band will celebrate the release of their new album, Daniel, with an acoustic in-store performance at Rough Trade NYC (sold out) and announced a “Rock ‘n’ Roll Bingo Night” at their upcoming concert in San Francisco.

Daniel is set to arrive on February 23 via Domino Recording Co. Real Estate — guitarists Martin Courtney and Julian Lynch, bassist Alex Bleeker, keyboardist Matt Kallman and drummer Sammi Niss — will deliver an acoustic performance at record store Rough Trade NYC.

Real Estate’s concert at The Independent in San Francisco will be “a BINGO themed party that is also a rock concert,” the band wrote on social media. Real Estate further detailed the event:

We’re writing down the names of songs from across our catalog on some bingo balls and putting them in one of those random-draw bingo ball cage machines. On stage, we’ll crank up the wheel and draw those balls randomly – playing whatever pops up. We’re also going to write some other things on those crazy balls, like covers and non-musical things and whatever else we can think of.
