Radiohead’s Thom Yorke Performs New Song At Ivor Novello Awards

Radiohead’s Thom Yorke performed a new song, believed to be titled “Space Walk,” at the 2026 Ivor Novello Awards in London. Harry Styles also presented Yorke with the prestigious Fellowship of the Ivors Academy at the 71st annual event held at Grosvenor House.

Among the other songwriters and composers honored at The Ivors was the late George Michael, who was also given a Fellowship of the Ivors Academy alongside Yorke.

Elton John was presented with an Ivors Academy Honour and Calvin Harris was given the PRS for Music Icon Award as well. Other Ivors went to CMAT for Best Album for Euro-Country, Rosalía for International Songwriter of The Year and Sam Fender for Songwriter Of The Year.

The Rising Star Award went to Jacob Alon, who also performed his Best Song Musically and Lyrically award-winning composition “Don’t Fall Asleep.”

Harry Styles delivered a lengthy speech touting his appreciation for Thom Yorke and Radiohead. Styles spoke about his personal connection to Yorke and the band, revealing he lost his virginity to Radiohead’s “Talk Show Host.”

“It’s an honor to be here tonight to present Thom with this recognition of his enduring influence on British music,” Styles said at the end of his speech. “Radiohead is my favorite band. Thank you, Thom, forever.“
