Radiohead Announces First U.S. Shows Since 2012

British rockers Radiohead have extended what is expected to be a lengthy World Tour with a bevy of new performances including the band’s first dates in the United States since 2012. Thom Yorke and Co. will mix festival appearances with headlining dates throughout the run.

As currently laid out, the tour begins with a pair of shows at Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam May 20 and 21. From there, Radiohead brings the tour to Le Zenith in Paris May 23 – 24 ahead of a three-night stand at London’s Roundhouse May 26 – 28. In June, the group will play Les Nuits Des Fourvieres in Lyon, France June 1 before headlining appearances at Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona, Spain June 3 and Secret Solstice Festival in Reykjavik, Iceland June 17.

This July, Radiohead opens the month with headlining slots at Openair St. Gallen in St. Gallen, Switzerland July 2 and NOS Alive Fest in Lisbon, Portugal July 8. Towards the end of the month, the band heads to North America for a pair of shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City July 26 – 27 and an appearance at Montreal’s Osheaga Music & Arts Festival between July 29 – 31. August starts for Radiohead with a pair of shows at Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles August 4 and 8 before they head to Japan for sets at Summer Sonic Festival in Osaka on August 20 and Tokyo August 21. Radiohead will headline Lollapalooza’s Berlin installment on September 11 ahead of a pair of shows at Palacio De Los Deportes in Mexico City, Mexico October 3 and 4.

Tickets for the European and U.S. headlining shows go on sale March 18 at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets for the shows in Mexico City go up for grabs March 16 at 11 a.m. local time. “These are all the headline shows that the band will play in 2016,” according to the band’s website.
