Pro-Shot Videos: Umphrey’s McGee Jams With Warren Haynes & Marco Benevento At Mountain Jam

Last Thursday Umphrey’s McGee helped kick off the first day of this year’s Mountain Jam music festival on Hunter Mountain in Hunter, New York with a pair of sets that featured guest appearances from guitarist Warren Haynes and keyboardist Marco Benevento. Mountain Jam organizers have unveiled professionally-shot video of both sit-ins for our viewing pleasure.

The first guest appearance came early in the first set when Warren joined Umphrey’s on the original “Higgins.” Haynes was given free reign to roam and a highlight of his sit-in came when he hooked up with UM guitarist Jake Cinninger for a jam based on The Rolling Stones’ “Can’t You Hear Me Knocking.” Watch the entire “Higgins” as well as the “Little Gift” that came just before it:

Later in the set Umphrey’s McGee welcomed Marco Benevento for a dub cover of “Breathe” by Pink Floyd. Benevento focused on organ as he shared UM keyboardist Joel Cummins’ setup. Take a look at pro-shot footage of “Breathe”:
