Pro-Shot Video: The String Cheese Incident Shares ‘Shantytown’ From Archival 2002 Release

The newest installment in The String Cheese Incident’s archival live release series is a show from July 2002 at Red Rock Amphitheatre in their home state of Colorado. In addition to making the show available to purchase as MP3s, FLACs, ALACs or on CD, the group has shared official video footage of a highlight of the newly available show.
SCI played the second of two straight shows Red Rocks back on July 6, 2002. The second set on the second night saw the band joined by pedal steel guitarist Robert Randolph on “Hotel Window.” Randolph was also brought back during an encore performance of “Sittin’ On Top Of The World.” Prior to that, the set opened with a version of “Shantytown” that segued into a full band “Drums” sequence, which together spanned 20 minutes.
