Pro-Shot Video: Gov’t Mule Welcomes Nels Cline At Mountain Jam

Last Friday Mountain Jam host Warren Haynes performed at the Hunter, New York music festival with his Gov’t Mule outfit. Mountain Jam organizers have continued to roll out pro-shot videos from this year’s installment with footage from Mule’s Friday night performance on Hunter Mountain among the latest to be shared.

Gov’t Mule welcomed Wilco guitarist Nels Cline for a mashup of Bob Marley’s “Rebel Music” and David Bowie’s “Rebel, Rebel.” Watch how it went down:

Later in the set Haynes led a cover of Temple Of The Dog’s “Hunger Strike” that gave way to Mule’s rendition of the Traffic classic “Dear Mr. Fantasy.” The quartet eventually returned for a reprise of “Hunger Strike.” Take a look:
