Pro-Shot Video: Galactic & Guests Including Leo Nocentelli Cover The Meters Aboard Jam Cruise

Jam Cruise organizers continue to unveil professionally-shot video from this past January’s trip and the latest clip shared is Galactic‘s version of “You’ve Got to Change (You’ve Got to Reform)” by The Meters played January 7 on the Pool Deck. Galactic was joined for The Meters cover by the legendary NOLA band’s guitarist Leo Nocentelli as well as percussionist Mike Dillon, saxophonist Ron Holloway and keyboardist Ivan Neville.

The Meters original “You’ve Got to Change (You’ve Got to Reform)” opens the band’s 1972 album Cabbage Alley. Watch how the Galactic & Friends’ version of the song aboard Jam Cruise 14 went down:

Jam Cruise 15 will set sail aboard the Norwegian Pearl from Miami on January 20 and will host a bevy of musical performances across its stages and spaces before returning to Miami on January 25. Not only will Galactic perform on JC15, but so will Leo and the rest of the The Original Meters as well as moe., GRiZ, the Benevento Russo Duo, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Lettuce and many others. Cabins are officially sold out.
