Pro-Shot: Joe Russo’s Almost Dead Teams With Horns For ‘Terrapin Station’

By Scott Bernstein Aug 10, 2016 12:31 pm PDT

Grateful Dead tribute act Joe Russo’s Almost Dead continued their Rad Tracks series by sharing pro-shot videos of the scorching “Terrapin Station” that they played at Brooklyn Bowl in New York City on March 25 and 26. The five-piece was joined by a four-piece horn section of Stuart Bogie, Martin Perna, Eric Biondo and Raymond Mason for “Terrapin Station” and other songs on the 25th of March.

While the Grateful Dead never performed “Terrapin Station” with horns, they fit the tune perfectly. JRAD would go on to play the end of “Terrapin Station” the next night at Brooklyn Bowl with electric violinist Katie Jacoby. Watch the 18 minutes of “Terrapin” Joe Russo’s Almost Dead and the four-piece horn section played in NYC on March 25:
