Pro-Shot Full Show Video: the Disco Biscuits Play New Year’s Eve In Atlanta

On New Year’s Eve The Disco Biscuits concluded a three-night run with a concert at The Tabernacle in Atlanta. Among the many highlights during the show was a bust out cover performed as the band rang in the new year.

The first set on December 31 opened with “Save The Robots” and later transitioned into the ending of “Mindless Dribble,” completing the rendition started the night before at The Tab. Following the recently added original “The Champions” and “The Tempest,” the first set drew to a close with the ending of “Spraypaint” that concluded the version of the song started on the run’s opening night.

The second tDB performance of “7-11” of the year got the second half underway followed by a segment of “Save The Robots.” Set two progressed with “Moshi Fameus” and an inverted “Reactor” before another return to “Save The Robots.” The band offered “House Dog Party Favor” for the second set closer.

As 2017 approached Bisco opened the third set with a bust out cover of Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s “Wizards In Winter.” On the shelf since July 2008, the break out cover led to the countdown to midnight followed by “Helicopters” that like in years past had “Happy New Year” lyrics. An inverted “And the Ladies Were the Rest of the Night” segued into the instrumental “Abraxas” followed by a move to the set three closer “Basis for a Day.” The encore began with “M.E.M.P.H.I.S.,” trailed by “Frog Legs,” “Kitchen Mitts” and one more dose of “Helicopters.” Watch officially shared videos of the three tDB NYE sets below:
