The highly-anticipated reissue of Prince’s landmark 1982 album, 1999, is out now via The Prince Estate and Warner Records. The album is completely remastered for the first time, but perhaps most exciting to Prince fans is the Super Deluxe Edtion’s 35 previously unreleased tracks, some straight out of Prince’s legendary vault.

1999 — the first album Prince made with the Revolution — includes the classics “Little Red Corvette,” “Delirious” and the title track among its 11 tracks originally spread out over two discs. But the incredibly prolific artist had to pare down his tracklist just to make it fit on a double album. Now, Purple One fans can hear the other tunes Prince wrote during the formative time in his incredible career, including demos and outtakes.

The 1999 Super Deluxe Edition also boasts two full concerts from the 1999 Tour along with audio from a November 1982 Detoirt concert and video from a Houston show at the end of that year. Additional features include a booklet with contributions from renowned rock journalist David Fricke, Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan and Minneapolis music commentator Andrea Swensson as well as detailed notes from Prince scholar Duane Tudahl, reproductions of handwritten lyrics and previously unseen photos by Allen Beaulieu.
