Mumford & Sons’ Full English Tour has been filled with collaborations and fun covers. That trend continued last night at Mardi Gras World in New Orleans, where Marcus Mumford & Co. welcomed Preservation Hall Jazz Band for a pair of songs to end the evening.
After a 14-song main set, Mumford & Sons returned to the stage for a four-song encore that started off with a cover of “House Of The Rising Son.” “Babel” came next, after which Pres Hall marched on stage to chants of “Who Dat?” The New Orleans fixtures helped out on versions of “When The Saints Go Marching In” and “The Cave” that brought the show to a close.
