Porches Reimagine Kacey Musgraves’ ‘Slow Burn’ For SiriusXM

SiriusXM shared video of Porches covering Kacey Musgraves. The project led by New York–based musician Aaron Maine offered their take on “Slow Burn” during a SiriusXMU Sessions appearance.

Maine brought Porches to SiriusXM studios to support his new album, Shirt, which arrived on September 13 through Domino Recording Co. The SiriusXMU (Ch. 35) play saw Porches performing Shirt cuts “Rag,” “Itch” and “Joker.” The full session and an interview with host Jenny Eliscu is available via the SiriusXM App.

Porches also offered a stripped-down rendition of Kacey Musgraves’ “Slow Burn.” The song kicks off Musgraves’ multiple Grammy-winning (including Album of the Year) 2018 LP, Golden Hour.
