Roger Waters and Nick Mason, the surviving founding members of Pink Floyd, met in London Thursday to celebrate the band’s 50th anniversary. The two musicians joined together at Regent Street Polytechnic in London where the pair -along with the late Richard Wright -formed Pink Floyd in 1965 while students at the school.

Pink Floyd was honored with a Regent Street Heritage Plaque commemorating the location of the band’s genesis. “It’s slightly strange to sort of feel that we’ve become such a sort of establishment figure,” Mason said of the honor.
