“Boston has always been one of the rowdiest cities we’ve ever played,” explained frontman “Scrambled Greg” Ormont. “From the first time we ever played in the Northeast, we were blown away by their wild energy. We already know they’re going to bring the heat for our first new year’s run in Boston and they know we’ll do the same and then some.”

Pigeons Playing Ping Pong made their Beantown debut at the now-shuttered Church of Boston in 2013. The quartet played the venue regularly until they stepped up to the Paradise Rock Club to headline in December of 2017. Ormont and bandmates guitarist Jeremy Schon, bassist Ben Carrey and drummer Alex “Gator” Petropulos first played the Boston House Of Blues on April Fools’ Day 2022. PPPP returned the next night for their most recent performance in Boston.

The Baltimore-based band are devoting the rest of their summer and start of fall to festival appearances including sets at Salmonfest Alaska, Elements, JamPacked, Tumble Down and Suwannee Hulaween. Pigeons’ fall tour spans October 29 through November 19. Click below for the complete list of Pigeons Playing Ping Pong tour dates.
