Pigeons Playing Ping Pong’s Domefest 2025 Lands In West Virginia With Papadosio, Spafford, More

As reported, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong are bringing back Domefest after a one-year layoff. PPPP have now announced the rest of the lineup for the three-day music festival, which moves to ACE Adventure Resort in New River Gorge, West Virginia August 7 – 9, 2025.

The host band will headline all three nights of Domefest 2025. Pigeons also recruited an impressive batch of jam scene standouts to join them on the bill, including Papadosio, Spafford, Octave Cat, Joe Hertler & The Rainbow Seekers, Dizgo, Sicard Hollow and more.

Papadosio’s first Domefest performance since the second annual event in 2011 comes as the band prepares to begin a touring hiatus at the end of 2025. Both Spafford and Octave Cat made their respective Domefest debuts in 2022. Additional Domefest vets on this year’s lineup include Chalk Dinosaur, Houseplant and Fletcher’s Grove. Festival newcomers 5AM Trio, Underground Springhouse, Natalie Brooke, The Infinity Tribe, Big Blitz, Wck (Eli Winderman, Jonathan Colman and John Kimock) and eeli (Eli Winderman of Dopapod/Octave Cat) are also aboard.

It wouldn’t be a proper Domefest without a The Domefest All-Stars performance. The collaborative set features past and present festival performers teaming up for a surprise-filled superjam.

Besides the music, festivalgoers can take advantage of the ACE Adventure Resort’s multitude of offerings with outdoor activities, a full waterpark and several on-site food and beverage options among them. Attendees can also enjoy mountaintop campsites, cozy cabins, clean restrooms and hot showers.

Pigeons Playing Ping Pong continue their current tour tonight, March 6 in Steamboat Springs with additional Colorado concerts to follow in Boulder on Friday, March 7 and Saturday, March 8 and Aspen on Sunday, March 9.
