Photos & Video: The Everyone Orchestra Complete Northeast Run

Everyone Orchestra :: 11.18-21.15 :: Baltimore, Brooklyn, Ardmore, D.C.

Conductor Matt Butler recently led Everyone Orchestra on a four-show swing through the Northeast. The run featured a core band of guitarist Steve Kimock, drummer John Morgan Kimock, guitarist/vocalist Cris Jacobs, bassist Ashish Vyas and keyboardist Todd Stoops. As with all EO shows, Butler guided the ensemble through all-improv performances often throwing in themes that the musicians would follow. The run started on Wednesday in Baltimore and continued in Brooklyn on Thursday, where vocalist Elise Testone helped out on a portion of the show. On Friday EO played Ardmore Music Hall and had Zach Deputy sit-in for the second set. Saturday’s finale in Washington, D.C. saw saxophonist Ron Holloway join the group for the second set.
