The Wood Brothers :: 01.23.16 :: The Fillmore :: San Francisco
After canceling the first concert of their planned two-night run at The Fillmore due to Oliver Wood’s illness, The Wood Brothers took the stage at the storied Bay Area venue Saturday night. The band was joined during their main set by the T Sisters, Jenny Scheinman and Liz Vice – who also served as opener. T Sisters lent a hand on a cover of Bob Marley’s “Three Little Birds” and stuck around for a version of “Payday” that also featured Scheinman. Both Scheinman and Vice contributed to the “Down By The Riverside” that followed. The Wood Brothers continue their tour in the Pacific Northwest over the next few days. The band then makes an appearance WinterWonderGrass in Colorado followed by a string of East Coast dates.
