Photos & Setlist: The Motet Throws Hometown Hustle In Denver

The Motet hosted a pair of sold out “Hometown Hustles” at the Ogden Theatre in Denver on Friday and Saturday nights. Saturday’s show featured a heaping helping of covers from the band’s recent Mixtape 1977 run as well as guest spots from Big Gigantic’s Dominic Lalli and vocalists Tanya Shylock and LaDamion Massey. The first set contained originals, while the second set was all about hits from 1977. On Friday, The Motet focused on originals and debuted new material expected to be included on a new studio album due in 2016. Check out Jeremy Williams’ photos from Saturday:

In other The Motet news, the band has announced it will headline the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado July 22. Medeski, Martin & Wood and Vulfpeck are aboard as support. Tickets go on sale to Motet fan club on Wednesday, November 18 and to the general public on Friday, November 20th via TheMotet.net. Special VIP Packages will be available as well.
