Veteran guitarist Jorma Kaukonen brought his solo tour to the South Orange Performing Arts Center in South Orange, New Jersey for a concert last Wednesday night. The first set got underway with “Dime For Beer” and included such Kaukonen-played favorites as “Hesitation Blues,” “S.F. Bay Blues” and the set ending “I Know You Rider.” Among the second half highlights was a string featuring “True Religion,” “Nobody Knows You When You’re Down & Out,” “Brother Can You Spare A Dime?,” and “How Long Blues,” along with several others.
