Brooklyn Steel hosted Austin-based rockers Spoon on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Each concert saw the band play similar sets featuring songs from their new record Hot Thoughts, alongside others from throughout their lengthy career.
The Hot Thoughts track “Do I Have to Talk You Into It” opened both of the shows in Brooklyn. Both nights saw performances of fellow new-album tracks “Can I Sit Next To You,” You Into It,” “Hot Thoughts,” I Ain’t the One” and “Pink Up,” while last night’s setlist also included “WhisperI’lllistentohearit.”
Frontman Britt Daniel led the group through other favorites such as “I Turn My Camera On,” “My Mathematical Mind,” “Black Like Me,” “Don’t You Evah,” “Got Nuffin” and the newer “Via Kannela” (complete setlists are below).
