Photographer Sterling Munksgard kept busy on December 31st as he did a tour of many Bay Area New Year’s Eve concerts. Sterling captured Highway Poets and the David Luning Band in action at Sebastopol’s Community Center as well as The Brothers Comatose in Petaluma and Moonalice in Mill Valley. Munksgard then brought his camera to San Francisco to capture Tumbleweed Wanderers at Slim’s as well as Slightly Stoopid with Karl Denson at The Warfield and The Flaming Lips, Gramatik and Ratatat at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. As if that wasn’t enough, the photographer also hit up the Primus show in Oakland. Take a look at his photo essay:
