Nicki Bluhm & The Gramblers completed a weekly Tuesday night residency at Schubas in Chicago on April 28. The three-show Windy City residency came in support of Loved Wild Lost, the band’s sophomore studio album which was released on the second night of the residency. Nicki and the Gramblers fleshed out both new and older material in the live setting over the course of the run, with band staples like “Little Too Late” taking on a creamy, psychedelic feel by week three. The group even found time to perform a set at US Cellular Field as part of the Rock The Sox series at the home of the Chicago White Sox.
