The Grateful Dead subreddit on Reddit has hosted a number of Ask Me Anything sessions in recent months including AMAs with vocalist Donna Jean Godchaux, longtime crew member Steve Parish and monitor-mixer Harry Popick. One of the next sessions to be held on r/GratefulDead will feature veteran rock photographer Jay Blakesberg.

Blakesberg will take queries from fans about his long history shooting the Grateful Dead and post-Jerry bands as well as many other acts on Wednesday, June 6 at 6 p.m. PT. Jay recently issued Eyes Of The World: Grateful Dead Photography 1965 – 1995 with co-author Josh Baron, a coffee table book which compiles incredible photographs from throughout the Grateful Dead’s 30-year career taken by Blakesberg and a variety of esteemed photographers. The lensman is also a talented videographer behind concert films and clips such as the Summer Camp Music Festival’s Summer Camp Sessions video series.
