Fans attending The 1975’s concert last night were treated to a surprise performance by Phoebe Bridgers in the middle of the band’s show at The Forum outside Los Angeles. Bridgers kicked off the second half of The 1975’s At Their Very Best Tour stop by covering “Milk” solo on acoustic guitar.
A literal deep cut, “Milk” first appeared as a hidden track on The 1975’s EP Sex, which came out in 2012. The song was later included on the deluxe edition of the band’s 2013 self-titled album.
Bridgers appeared after The 1975 performed a nearly track-for-track recitation of their 2022 album, Being Funny In A Foreign Language, playing nine of its 11 songs alongside a few others from different albums. After Bridgers’ solo performance of “Milk,” The 1975 continued the concert by performing such favorites as “It’s Not Living (If It’s Not With You),” “Robbers,” “Somebody Else” and “Give Yourself a Try,” among others.
