Phoebe Bridgers Shares Gorgeous ‘So Much Wine’ Holiday Benefit Cover

Phoebe Bridgers shared a cover of The Handsome Family’s “So Much Wine.” Proceeds from the holiday offering will benefit the Los Angeles LGBT Center.

Bridgers enlisted fellow singer-songwriter Andrew Bird to add fiddle, whistling and backing vocals. Bridgers and Bird recently teamed up for a musical adaptation of the Emily Dickinson poem, ​​“I felt a Funeral, in my Brain.”

The “So Much Wine” cover also contains contributions longtime Bridgers collaborators Ethan Gruska (organ) and Harrison Whitford (guitar). Additionally, renowned bassist Sebastian Steinberg appears on the record and Phoebe’s partner actor Paul Mescal adds backing vocals.
