On November 14, Osiris will unveil the first installment of After Midnight: Phish’s Big Cypress Festival. The podcast series comes in honor of the 20th anniversary of the Phish Millennium Eve celebration and will feature a total of five episodes hosted by journalist Jesse Jarnow. A trailer for After Midnight has been shared and can be streamed below.
Phish drew approximately 85,000 people to the Big Cypress Indian Reservation in Florida for performances on December 30 and 31, 1999. The band closed the event with a set that started just before the turn of the Millenium and ended seven-and-a-half-hours later when the sun rose. Big Cypress was the world’s largest Millenium Eve concert.

After Midnight tells the tale of the festival by exploring the band’s history, how they built an independent concert industry and how both came together in the middle of Florida’s Everglades. New interviews with Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio and drummer Jon Fishman are featured within the series, which also includes participation from former manager John Paluska and others who helped plan and execute the event as well as some of those who were in attendance.
