Sacred Rose Announces Philco & Joe Russo’s Almost Dead Livestreams

The Grateful Dead bassist will be joined by members of Wilco, Karl Denson, Jeff Chimenti and more at the inaugural festival.

Livestreams featuring both the Phil Lesh & FriendsPhilco and Joe Russo’s Almost Dead performances at this weekend’s Sacred Rose festival are available. FANS will air Phil Lesh & Friends live tomorrow (Friday, August 26) at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT and JRAD on Sunday, August 28 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. The webcasts are available for purchase via Sacred Rose’s website.

The inaugural Sacred Rose festival begins on Friday at the Seatgeek Stadium Campus in Bridgeview, Illinois near Chicago and runs through Sunday. Khruangbin, The War On Drugs, Umphrey’s McGee, Goose, STS9 and Greensky Bluegrass are just a few of the artists set to join Phil & Friends and JRAD in performing at Sacred Rose over the course of the event.

Phil Lesh & Friends’ Sacred Rose lineup finds Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh accompanied by Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy and Nels Cline as well as Karl Denson, Jeff Chimenti, Stu Allen, John Molo, Elliot Peck and Grahame Lesh. Two sets are expected with start times of 9 p.m. CT and 10:45 p.m. CT. JRAD will also play two sets with the band’s Sunday performances slated to get underway at 8 p.m. CT and 9:30 p.m. CT.

Livestream purchases include access to video-on-demand after the bands leave the stage. Fans can view the broadcasts until Sunday, September 4 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
