By Scott Bernstein Oct 17, 2017 • 2:13 pm PDT

On February 2 and 3, 1968 the Grateful Dead played a pair of memorable shows at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland, Oregon. Fifty years later, bassist Phil Lesh will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the standout concerts by performing with The Terrapin Family Band on February 2 and 3, 2018 at Portland’s Crystal Ballroom.
The announcement of Phil and The TXR Band’s visit to Portland continues a trend of the group visiting cities beyond their home venue of Terrapin Crossroads and New York City area rooms Brooklyn Bowl and The Capitol Theatre. Phil is joined in the band by guitarists Ross James and Grahame Lesh, multi-instrumentalist Jason Crosby and drummer Alex Koford.
Tickets go on sale Friday, October 20.
