Phil Lesh, Terrapin Family Band & Guests Announce Central Park Concert

Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh will team with The Terrapin Family Band for his return to Central Park this summer. Lesh and The Terrapin Family Band will play New York City’s Central Park Summerstage on August 30 with Nicki Bluhm and Melvin Seals aboard as special guests.

The evening will include one set of Jerry Garcia Band music. On Friday, Phil Lesh sat-in with Melvin Seals & JGB for the first time. The bassist added to “Shakedown Street” and “Sugaree” at Terrapin Crossroads’ Grate Room. Watch a portion of the guest appearance as captured by Adrienna Monique:

Tickets for Phil Lesh’s visit to Summerstage go on sale this Friday, May 19.
