Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh recently revealed his plan to recreate Dead shows from 1977 with The Terrapin Family Band and guests throughout 2017 at Terrapin Crossroads. While the first 1977 tribute show, which will be held on January 25 at the San Rafael venue, has sold out, the bassist has announced a second “Phil Lesh and The Terrapin Family Band Play 1977” performance.
Lesh and the band’s second tribute to 1977 show will take place on January 26. The core Terrapin Family Band features guitarists Ross James and Grahame Lesh along with drummer Alex Koford. Special guests for the late January concerts have not been revealed yet. Tickets for the show on the 26th are available here as of press time.
