Phil Lesh Hosts Summer Harvest Party At Terrapin Crossroads

Just one day before Furthur announced a hiatus, the band’s bassist –Phil Lesh -hosted a “Summer Harvest Party” at his Terrapin Crossroads venue in San Rafael, CA on Monday night.

For this show, Lesh was joined by his Furthur band mates John Kadlecik and Jeff Chimenti as well as drummer Tony Leone and guitarists Stu Allen and Neal Casal. The band offered two sets heavy on Grateful Dead classics along with a cover of “Across The Universe” by The Beatles.

Lesh led everyone towards a campfire outside the venue for a special encore set. This “campfire encore” featured unplugged performances of “The Wheel,” “Friend Of The Devil,” “Dire Wolf,” “Goin’ Down The Road Feeling Bad” and “Ripple.” The venue shared footage of the encore via its YouTube Channel:
