Phil Lesh’s last visit to The Warfield was a two-night stand honoring the theater’s 100th anniversary on December 27, 2022 and December 28, 2022. The bassist was accompanied at the celebratory shows by Goose guitarist Rick Mitarotonda, guitarist Grahame Lesh, drummer John Molo and the Trey Anastasio Band horn section of Jennifer Hartswick, James Casey and Natalie Cressman with Holly Bowling and Jason Crosby on keyboards for one night each. Phil’s band for the upcoming concert has not been announced.
The news of the January show arrived a few days after Phil Lesh & Friends completed a run of two performances at The Fillmore in San Francisco. The Phil Lesh & Friends lineup last weekend consisted of Phil on bass along with guitarists Grahame Lesh, Stu Allen and Stanley Jordan with John Molo on drums and Adam MacDougall on keys.
