Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh went 20 years between performances at Frost Amphitheater before returning to Bay Area venue last June. The wait for Phil’s next show won’t be long as he’ll bring Phil Lesh & Friends to the recently renovated amphitheater on the campus of Stanford University in Palo Alto, California on Friday, May 5.

The lineup for the Frost will feature Phil Lesh on bass joined by guitarists Marcus King and Grahame Lesh, multi-instrumentalist Jason Crosby and drummer Tony Leone. Phil’s ensemble will be rounded out by the Trey Anastasio Band horn section consisting of trumpeter/vocalist Jennifer Hartswick, trombonist/vocalist Natalie Cressman and saxophonist/vocalist James Casey.
