Perpetual Groove Launches Kickstarter For 1st Studio Album In 7 Years

Southern jam act Perpetual Groove has been slowly building up steam after a two-year breakup. Touring wise, the quartet first played shows sporadically and are now embarking on full tours. Recording wise, PGroove issued an EP last year and are now ready to record their first full-length studio album in seven years. Perpetual Groove has started a Kickstarter campaign to help fund the recording of the LP, which they intend to issue on vinyl (and other formats).

The quartet is aiming to release the album in 2018 and the LP would be the first of theirs to be pressed to vinyl. PGroove mentions the album will be culled from “an entire stack of never-before heard tunes and some road tested gems that must make their way to the studio.” Those pledging to the campaign will be eligible for rewards ranging from stickers to early listens to limited edition flash drives with the album to signed vinyl to private concerts depending on the amount contributed.
