Perpetual Groove Covers David Bowie’s ‘Heroes’ In Isolation

By Scott Bernstein Apr 28, 2020 7:17 am PDT

Perpetual Groove recorded a cover of “Heroes” by David Bowie in isolation dedicated to frontline health care responders and first responders. The quartet shared a video featuring “Heroes” on their YouTube channel.

The band — consisting of Brock Butler, Matt McDonald, Adam Perry and Albert Suttle — each laid down their parts of the cover at home. David Bowie originally released as the title track of his 1977 studio album. PGroove had been fitting “Heroes” into setlists for the past two years before the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic forced the band off the road.
