If it seems as if iconic performer Paul McCartney has been adding a show a day to his One On One World Tour, that’s because he has. Today, Macca has announced his return to historic Fenway Park in Boston on July 17.
The July concert will be the former Beatles’ fourth at the home of the Red Sox which has hosted McCartney on August 5 and 6, 2009 as well as on July 9, 2013. Pre-sale tickets for the Boston concert will be available starting at 12 p.m. ET on Friday, April 29. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, May 6 at 10 a.m. ET. McCartney’s visit to Boston comes in addition to One On One North American stops planned for Vancouver, Little Rock, Sioux Falls, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Cincinnati, Philadelphia, Hershey, Hamilton, Washington, D.C., East Rutherford, St. Louis and Cleveland. Also note that Macca’s Fenway show comes one day after Dead & Company’s second of two concerts at the ballpark.
Paul’s One On One Tour has seen him add Beatles song he has never performed solo to his set as well as the return of other Beatles and Wings classics. Macca was joined at his most recent stop by Diana Krall and a bag pipe band.
