Oteil Burbridge, Stu Allen, Jackie LaBranch & Gloria Jones Join Melvin Seals & JGB At The Warfield

Longtime members of the Jerry Garcia Band, keyboardist Melvin Seals and vocalists Jackie LaBranch and Gloria Jones, performed together last night at The Warfield in San Francisco. The show also featured special guests – bassist Oteil Burbridge and guitarist Stu Allen.

Seals, LaBranch, Jones, Burbridge and Allen joined current JGB drummer Peter Lavezzoli, bassist John-Paul McLean, guitarist Zach Nugent and vocalists Cheryl Rucker and Shirley Starks at the storied Bay Area venue. The guests were on stage for renditions of Jerry Garcia Band staples such as “Cats Under The Stars” and Marvin Gaye’s “How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved by You).” View audience-shot video of those two guest-aided songs as well as Melvin Seals & JGB working up a take on “What A Wonderful World” below:
