Old Crow Medicine Show Honors Tom Petty In Australia

Old Crow Medicine Show finished a short run of shows in Australia with a performance at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney on Tuesday night. The concert saw the band covering several songs in honor of Tom Petty who had just passed away at the age of 66.

Tuesday’s concert began with an opening set by Valerie June, followed by Old Crow Medicine Show’s headlining performance. The group closed out their set by covering a trio of songs originally recorded by Tom Petty. “I Won’t Back Down” kicked off the tribute, followed by takes on Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers’ hits “Breakdown” and “American Girl.”
