Maryland rockers O.A.R. have shared a new single “Just Like Paradise.” The band also detailed the Just Like Paradise Tour which will see them touring this summer in support of the new track.
O.A.R. will be joined by supporting act Matt Nathanson on the Just Like Paradise Tour. The run of shows begins July 24 at Fraze Pavilion for the Performing Arts in Kettering, Ohio. July will also see concerts held in Nashville as well as three nights in Texas with stops in Irving, Austin and Houston.
“It feels like everyone could use a little extra summer fun this year,” said O.A.R.’s Marc Roberge. “The song and tour really catch that feeling. We’re looking forward to getting out there, playing what people want to hear, and having as much fun as possible along the way.”
The Just Like Paradise Tour continues in August with shows planned in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, West Virginia, New York, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and Iowa. In September, O.A.R. will bring their tour to Minnesota, Illinois, Missouri, Colorado, Oregon and Utah. A final show is currently slated for September 18 at the Showbox SoDo in Seattle, Washington.
O.A.R. pre-sale and VIP packages are currently on sale through Thursday, February 15 at 10 p.m. local time (pre-sale tickets come with a download of “Just Like Paradise”). Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, February at 12 p.m. local venue time. More information is available here.
In addition to the Just Like Paradise Tour, O.A.R. will participate in The Music of Led Zeppelin tribute concert at Carnegie Hall in New York City on March 7. The band will also be in NYC to host the March 23 Concert Of Dreams at the Beacon Theatre featuring a number of special guests.
